My Story

Hi, I'm Aislynn.

I've lived with alopecia since I was 11. If you're reading this, there's a good chance you know the feeling I'm talking about — catching yourself in the mirror and not quite recognizing the person looking back.

For a long time I tried everything. Pencils that smudged by lunchtime. Powders that vanished the second I got warm. Nothing that survived a shower, a workout, or a good cry.

Baldilocks started because I wanted brows that were easy. Brows that looked like real hair, went on in thirty seconds, and stayed put through an entire day without me thinking about them once.

What I didn't expect was how many other people were looking for the same thing. Through social media I found an entire community — people with alopecia, people going through chemo, people who over-plucked in the 2000s and never got their brows back, and plenty of people who just wanted to skip a step in the morning. Women, men, and kids.

That's who these are for. Not a costume, not a cover-up. Just your face, on the days you need a little help feeling like yourself.
